Polish language courses

The PUE offers a free Polish language course for beginners in both semesters. In the Spring semester there is also a second part of this course for students who stay at the PUE for the whole academic year. Each of these has 4 contact hours per week and gives 8 ECTS credits.  

The PUE does not offer advanced courses of Polish language but their are several schools in Poznan which offer such courses. The information about Polish language schools, types of courses available and fees is given to the students at the beginning of the semester. The Erasmus students can apply for a partial refund of the costs of the course from the PUE.

Other Language courses

The PUE offers intermediate and advanced business language courses of English, French, German, Spanish and Russian. Each course is composed of 2-3 hours of teaching per week and gives 1-2 ECTS credits. These courses are available free of charge for exchange students.

Foreign language certificates

The PUE has authorised examination centre for foreign language certificates which offers the following examinations and preparation courses for additional fees.

English - LCCI - English for Business, LCCI – SEFIC, English – TELC
French - Certificat de français professionnel, Diplôme de français des affaires 1er degré, 
Diplôme de français des affaires 2eme degre, Certificat de français juridique (CFJ)
Russian - Everyday Russian, Business Russian, Russian - TELC 
German - Prüfung Wirtschaftsdeutsch International (PWD)
