  Open-position in Science Management and Technology Transfer for Doctoral Students and Postdoctoral Researchers in Switzerland

The proposed open-position involves is science management and technology transfer in regard to the activities of the Swiss-Polish PhD Programme realized at Empa, Switzerland.
The main responsibility will be directly related to the further development of the Programme, estab-lishing the interdisciplinary links between running PhD projects and cooperation with PhD students. Additionally, it will involve assistance in coordination of the activities of the Programme, project acquisition, as well as in management and administration.
This open position is directly linked with Sciex Fellowship Pilot Phase. The Candidates need to apply for a personal fellowship to sciex@crus.ch.
To receive a fellowship for a doctoral student or a postdoc, the candidate needs to fill in all the pro-posal forms (to be found under: http://www.crus.ch/die-crus/koordiniert-harmonisiert/scientific-exchange-programme-nms-ch/pilot-phase.html ) until 12. June 2009 (deadline). The decision will be made by the end of August 2009.

The time frame of the open-position between 6 to 24 months

The Swiss-Polish PhD Programme is a pilot project in the frame of the bilateral scientific coopera-tion between Switzerland and Poland. The core idea of the Programme is to enable highly qualified and motivated Doctoral Students and Post Doctoral researchers to perform their scientific activities in excellent, interdisciplinary and international research environment of the partner institutions in Switzerland and Poland.
